Tree shortlist

Have given up on uploading the wondershare slideshow :( Here's a plain old gallery instead...

Some may recall me mentioning the desire to create a tree calendar...I have whittled down the choices to 17, can you help me choose which 5 to loose?

UK peeps - I'm ordering some calendars from VistaPrint, if you would like a copy for yourself please let me know and I'll add it to my order and when they arrive sign it and send it out to you. Unsure of the cost as it depends to some extent on volume but it shouldn't be more than £12. (Probabaly less.) Use the contact button or tab to let me know. Thanks. US peeps, I'll create a version on Zazzle also...and I have vague recollections that Red Bubble do calendars too? Not sure...

Anyway, even if you have no desire what so ever for a tree calendar, your help with choices would be appreciated. Here in the comments would be easiest for me, but the other usual ways are fine too. Thank you kindly.

Odeon Liverpool One #iPhoneography #proHDR

Playing with pro HDR app + chocolate (milk free of course) has helped rescue a pretty testing day.

Thank you to the people responsible for both...plus thanks to Rob for being so laid back about reconnecting all the pipes and also to the person who first thought of installing central heating in caravans...

Not a ventilation shaft I know - that's still waiting for me to write something to go with it...

Guardian #iPhoneography #Liverpool

Still a few city shots left to play with & post.
Though I'm distracted by trees at the moment partly because I want to make a calendar...
...plus I said I'd think about something for 'Ploink'
Anyone know of a spoon bank??

Twilight haze, follow your dreams english tea mug from Zazzle.com

A couple of peeps mentioned yesterday that they'd like to see my 'Twilight' image from yesterday as a card or mouse mat or something...so your wish is my command.
I've created a variety of items from magnets to prints to this mug with a customisable message.

There's free postage on orders over $50 at the moment, but I suspect that's only for US customers.

When ordering from zazzle always use your county's site to get the best postage rates.

Twilight #iphoneography #art #iphoneArt

I'm not terribly sure which apps I used...though the bulk of the processing was done with 'PhotoFX'.
Original photograph taken as usual with 'camera genius' on my iPhone 3GS
Location- North Wales.

Autumn seat #iPhoneography AND...

...a question.
I saved & noted which apps I used every step of the way when creating this, with the idea of putting together a 'making of' video.
But
really not sure it's a 'good' enough shot for anyone to be interested...is anyone?? anywhere??

Morning light #iPhoneography

Almost time for goodbye...
I do hope payback for hobbling around outside in my housecoat isn't too terrible...but the light out there was too hard to resist.

#42day 10.10.10 #iPhoneography

I was outside snapping away at 10.10am today...as to which photo was the exact 10.10.10sec one, alas I do not know.
But hopefully this is close enough...
Numerologists say this is a day for creativity. DNA geeks will be focusing on the fact that 101010 is 42 in binary.
For those just fascinated by the date- visit the flickr group
http://www.flickr.com/groups/tententen/
I don't have the Adams site URL to hand so just google 42 day :) if you're the least bit interested that is...(it's also in my tweet stream somewhere, Sir Stephen of Fry tweeted it earlier.

night in the city - version 2 #Liverpool #iPhoneography

My first attempt to create a slideshow used the convoluted method of making a power point presentation then converting it to an .avi file. I posted it in the spirit of illustrating my working methods...even though I wasn't happy with it.

Then it suddenly occured to me to investigate the Windows Live tools and I've used the movie maker tool to create this,

Watch on posterous

I'm happier with it than the first attempt, but realise that I have a lot to learn.

Would you argue with this cat @michaelNobbs ? Managing time to be creative.

I have very little energy...or spoons as we fatigue fighters will often refer to it and I struggle to cope with it. I was lucky enough to do a 16 day pain management programme at the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery some time ago and one of the main mantras there is 'Targeting & Pacing'

But I suck at pacing. Oh I can set targets...but pace myself? Just over 3 years with this illness and I'm still not dealing with it very well... A talented tweep Matthew Watkins pointed me in the direction of Michael Nobbs another talented chap who's being creative despite having ME/CFS.

Michael's site is jam packed with useful tips for those of us short on energy, but it's also useful for those who are short on time. There's a free email micro-mag every 2 weeks to try to keep you on track and usually a podcast too. Well worth signing up for... (go on, click the link and leave me...)

So Sand the point of this post is...? Well, Michael suggests splitting tasks into 20 minute chunks...kind of. You need to click on his name above to read the post I'm referring to. So I regularly set a timer on my pc or whatever for 20 -30 minutes, but when it goes off I have a habit of ignoring it... Not good eh? A quick surf around and I ordered this,

Now then, would you ignore this cat? It has a very loud hard to ignore tick and jangles jumpingly when the times up. Alas it doesn't KEEP ringing which would be best for me, (you know, put it out of reach so it doesn't stop till you stop and get up to deal with it) but it is definitely harder to ignore than the feeble thing I have on my laptop.

Now of course I just need to remember to use it...properly.
