Waiting #iphoneography #Liverpool

P987

I confess I've not used Iris very much, but a nice video tutorial on the new iPhoneography Central site encouraged me to try it again.
I can see it's place in my most used apps but confess that it'll be in a trio rather than my first go to app. Be interesting to try it with iPhone art rather than photography...
And yes, this is another waiting for the cab photo...I can feel my legs aching just looking at this ;)

The City #iphoneography #Liverpool

P979

Another iPhone photograph from that grey Monday in Liverpool. Taken in front of John Lewis by the bus station whilst waiting for a cab...need to get me a rollator. Tsk.

Between two worlds 2 #iphoneography #abstract #digiArt

P968

This started off as an iPhone photograph of grass in a sand dune by the beach at Southport. The tiny planets app and picture show app were the two main influences on the abstraction of the image. As usual I had no clear idea of where I was going...and I'm quite pleased about where I ended up.

I am very behind with uploading to online art shops and even with backing up (:
Does anyone have a system that works for them when it comes to keeping digital art backed up and organised?
I'd love some tips...seems to take me all my time to create and try to keep up with correspondence, let alone organise images.
I need a spoon bank...

Hell #iPhoneography

Scope_unit
If you want more info about my terrible tuesday at the endoscopy unit, click here. But I really wouldn't blame you if you'd rather not know ;)

Had LOTS of time to take photos with my iPhone and apped away for much of the HOURS of waiting. Once again I was very very grateful for my tech toy. Not least because I could let my family waiting downstairs know that I hadn't been rushed to another theatre. I was still waiting. Handy having a camera that can send text messages :)

Canvas prints #helloCanvas

P701

Some prints just arrived. They look great, I'm really impressed with the quality and the service from 'Hello Canvas'. This is the second time I've used them, using Groupon vouchers as a way of trying various printers. Even without a voucher their prices are competitive and the website is easy to navigate and gives scope for choosing exactly how you want your print to look.
If you live in the UK check them out, and keep an eye out for their Groupon offers.
I'll add links to this post when I'm able to.

(Print is available for purchase, contact me for further information if required.)

Respect

Respect Other Traditions

As the Buddha said, "One need not carry the raft on one's head after crossing the stream." We need to learn not only how to honor and use a practice for as long as it serves us—which in most cases is a very long time—but to look at it as just that, a vehicle, a raft to help us cross through the waters of doubt, confusion, desire, and fear. We can be thankful for the raft that supports our journey, and still realize that though we benefit, not everyone will take the same raft.
