Pain that there's no reason for, aside from a twist of fate...a genetic flaw...a retrovirus?
An immune system that attacks itself, a nervous system that can no longer manage to communicate.
Oh to turn it off or battle against it with magic and myth to help it to be calm and quiet and at peace
I would not miss it's company
